Pieter Tesch’s 2007 study dates the palace building to 1911–1912. It describes a seat of government with a throne hall and records meetings with advisers and petitioners in a nearby coffee house. These spaces offer a way to think about a court as a place of encounters and decisions.
This is a historical reading of that study. No present-day condition claim is made here. Documentary photographs will be added only with a recorded source, date and appropriate rights.
